Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase made through it. By using the site you accept them. They sit alongside the RUO Agreement, the Privacy Policy, the Shipping Policy, and the Refund & Return Policy, all of which form part of the agreement between you and Alpha Aminos.

Alpha Aminos is a trading name of LK Operations LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, of PO Box 17154, Fountain Hills, AZ 85269. In these terms “Alpha Aminos”, “we” and “us” mean that company.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this site or place an order, and you must have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract. You must also meet the qualification conditions set out in the RUO Agreement. Eligibility is acknowledged on entry to the site and confirmed again as a required step at checkout.

2. Buyer representations

Each time you place an order you represent and warrant that:

  • You are acquiring the products solely for in vitro laboratory research, analytical, or scientific purposes.
  • You are a qualified party — a researcher, a laboratory professional, or a person with equivalent training and facilities — competent to receive, handle, store, and dispose of research chemicals safely.
  • You will use the products only in an appropriate and approved setting with suitable containment, equipment, and protective measures.
  • You are legally entitled to receive research chemicals in your jurisdiction, and you hold any licence, registration, or approval that jurisdiction requires.
  • You are not acting, directly or indirectly, for any person who intends to administer the products to a human or an animal.
  • The information you provide — including your name, address, and any statement of qualification — is accurate and not misleading.

These representations are a material condition of every sale. An order placed in breach of them is void, and Alpha Aminos may cancel it at any point before or after acceptance.

3. Products and research-use restrictions

Everything sold through this site is supplied for laboratory research use only, on the conditions set out in the RUO Agreement, which is incorporated into these terms in full. Where these terms and the RUO Agreement differ on any matter of research use, the RUO Agreement governs.

4. No medical advice

Nothing on this site — no product description, no certificate, no answer to an enquiry, and no other communication from Alpha Aminos — constitutes medical advice, a treatment recommendation, a dosing instruction, or therapeutic guidance of any kind. Alpha Aminos does not employ or provide access to medical or veterinary practitioners and will not answer questions of that nature. If you have a medical concern, consult a licensed physician.

5. No adulteration, compounding, or preparation for administration

You must not combine, mix, compound, dilute, reconstitute, formulate, repackage, relabel, or otherwise prepare any product for the purpose of consumption, ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical application, or any other administration to a human or an animal, whether by you or by anyone else.

6. Anti-diversion and resale

You must not resell, redistribute, gift, or otherwise transfer any product to a person who does not meet the conditions of section 2, and you must not represent any product as fit for human or animal use, as a drug, as a dietary supplement, or as a food.

Alpha Aminos may decline to supply, may limit quantities, and may terminate an account where it reasonably believes products are being acquired for diversion, resale to unqualified parties, or administration to a person or animal. Order and quantity patterns are among the things it may consider.

7. Orders, pricing, and availability

Listing a product is an invitation to order, not an offer. A contract is formed only when Alpha Aminos accepts the order and dispatches it. Alpha Aminos may decline, limit, or cancel any order, in whole or in part, for any lawful reason, including:

  • the product is unavailable;
  • pricing, description, or availability was published in error;
  • the order appears fraudulent, or the payment cannot be verified;
  • the order raises a compliance or regulatory concern, or any ground set out in the RUO Agreement;
  • the quantity ordered exceeds what Alpha Aminos is willing to supply.

Prices are in United States dollars and exclude any tax, duty, or import charge unless stated otherwise. Bulk discount tiers apply automatically in the cart at the quantities published on the product page. Prices and tiers may change without notice; the price in force when an order is accepted applies to that order.

8. Payment and chargebacks

Payment is taken at checkout through the methods shown there. Card details are handled by the payment processor, not by Alpha Aminos, and are never stored on this site. Orders are dispatched only once payment has cleared.

If you dispute a charge, contact us first. Raising a chargeback for an order that was delivered as described, or that is not refundable under the Refund & Return Policy, is a breach of these terms. Alpha Aminos may recover the amount charged back together with any fee imposed on it and reasonable costs of recovery, and may suspend or close the account.

9. Shipping, returns, and refunds

Dispatch times, thresholds, packaging, and the passing of title and risk are set out in the Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are governed by the Refund & Return Policy, which is restrictive by necessity: these are research chemicals, and a vial that has left our custody cannot re-enter the supply chain.

10. Accounts

You may order as a guest or through an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your authorisation.

Alpha Aminos may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms or the RUO Agreement, or where it reasonably suspects such a breach. Closure does not affect obligations already incurred.

11. Acceptable use of the site

You must not:

  • use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of the RUO Agreement;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any account other than your own;
  • scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content, pricing, or certificate data from the site;
  • interfere with the operation of the site, or transmit malicious code through it;
  • misrepresent your identity, qualification, jurisdiction, or intended use when ordering.

12. Export control and sanctions

You must comply with all applicable export control, import, and sanctions laws. You represent that you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or ordering on behalf of any person in a country or territory subject to comprehensive trade sanctions, and that you are not a person with whom dealing is prohibited under any applicable sanctions list. You must not export or re-export any product in breach of those laws.

13. Intellectual property

The Alpha Aminos name, wordmark, logo, site design, photography, product imagery, and written content are the property of Alpha Aminos and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without written permission. Nothing on this site grants any licence to use them.

14. Accuracy of site content

Alpha Aminos takes care over the accuracy of product data, certificates, and published figures. It does not warrant that the site is free of error or interruption, and it may correct any error in pricing, description, or availability, including after an order has been placed but before it has been dispatched.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

Except for conformity with the stated specification for the relevant lot, the site and all products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Alpha Aminos specifically disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability and any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. No advice or information obtained from Alpha Aminos creates any warranty not expressly stated here.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpha Aminos is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss or damage arising from the site, the purchase, handling, storage, use, or misuse of any product, or any delay or failure in delivery. Its total aggregate liability in respect of any product or order is limited to the price paid for that product or order.

You assume all risk associated with the receipt, handling, storage, use, and disposal of the products. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alpha Aminos and its owners, officers, employees, and agents against any claim, loss, liability, or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising from:

  • your breach of these terms or of the RUO Agreement;
  • your handling, storage, use, transfer, or disposal of any product;
  • any injury, illness, or harm to any person, animal, or property connected with any product after it leaves our custody;
  • any administration of a product to a human or an animal by you or by anyone to whom you transferred it;
  • any chargeback, fraudulent payment, or claim made by you in bad faith.

18. Force majeure

Alpha Aminos is not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, fire, flood, epidemic, war, civil unrest, labour dispute, carrier failure, utility or network outage, supplier failure, or any act of government or regulator.

19. Third-party links

This site may link to third-party sites, including those of independent testing laboratories and payment providers. Alpha Aminos does not control them and is not responsible for their content or practices.

20. Changes to these terms

Alpha Aminos may revise these terms by publishing an updated version on this page. Continued use of the site after publication constitutes acceptance. The version in force when an order is accepted governs that order.

21. Notices and electronic communications

You consent to receive communications from Alpha Aminos electronically, including order confirmations, dispatch notices, certificates, and notices under these terms. Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. Notices to us should be sent through the contact page.

22. Dispute resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms is resolved exclusively in the courts identified in section 23. Nothing in these terms requires either party to submit a dispute to arbitration.

23. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

24. General

Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it is severed and the remainder continues in force.

Survival. Sections 2, 5, 6, 12, 13, and 15 to 19 survive termination of your account or of these terms.

No waiver. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these terms. Alpha Aminos may assign them in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the business.

Entire agreement. These terms, together with the documents named in the opening paragraph, are the entire agreement between you and Alpha Aminos on their subject matter and supersede any prior understanding.
