    We do not grade our own work

    Every lot goes to an independent laboratory with no stake in the answer before it ever reaches us, and we test it again ourselves when it arrives. Purity by HPLC. Identity by mass spectrometry. Two results, or no listing.

  2. 02

    The number on the paper is the number in the vial

    99%+, documented, or it does not enter the catalog. The certificate is lot-traceable to the exact vial you were sent — not to a representative batch from an earlier run.

  3. 03

    We describe the molecule, never the effect

    Structure, sequence, test results, lot. That is what we can prove, so that is what we say. Everything here is supplied for laboratory research use, and we hold that line even where it costs us a sale.

The principle

The standard came first.

The industry settled on 95%, on certificates written by the seller, and on the assumption that nobody would check. Alpha Aminos was built on the opposite assumption — that someone always checks, and that the number had better hold when they do.

So nothing is listed on a claim. Every lot is tested twice — by an independent laboratory first, then by us on arrival — and the certificate travels with the vial. That is not a policy laid over the business. It is the reason there is one.

How we verify

Two laboratories, in this order.

    Independent testing, first

    Before a lot ever reaches us, it goes to a third-party laboratory with no stake in the result. High-performance liquid chromatography establishes purity; mass spectrometry confirms the molecule is what the label says it is.

  2. 02

    Our own check, on arrival

    When the lot lands, we test it again ourselves. Two independent results have to agree before a compound earns a place in the catalog. A batch that fails either test goes no further. The industry accepts 95%. We reject it.

  3. 03

    Certificate, matched to your vial

    Each lot carries its own certificate, traceable by lot number to the exact vial in your hand — not a representative sample, not a batch average.

The methods

What the tests actually measure.

HPLC — purity
Separates the sample into its components and measures the proportion each represents. This is where the 99%+ figure comes from.
Mass spectrometry — identity
Measures molecular mass to confirm the compound is the one named on the label. Purity means nothing if the molecule is wrong.
Lot traceability
Every vial carries a lot number printed on the label and recorded against its certificate, so any vial can be traced back to its analysis.

The lot number is printed on the vial label and appears on your order confirmation. Two routes to the certificate for it:

  1. In your account. Certificates are filed against the order they shipped with, so the one you open is the one for the vial in your hand.
  2. Ask us. Send the lot number and we will send the certificate back.

Dispatch
We ship daily and send orders out as soon as they are ready. Our guarantee is that an in-stock order is dispatched within two business days; in practice it is usually sooner. Tracking reaches you the moment it leaves.

Domestic orders of $300 or more ship free. Below that, rates are calculated at checkout against your address.
Discreet packaging
Plain outer packaging with no product or category markings. Tamper-evident seals, fully tracked, with the tracking number emailed on dispatch.
Handling and storage
Lyophilised powders ship at ambient temperature. Compounds requiring cold chain are packed accordingly and marked on the label — store on arrival as the label directs.
