RUO Agreement

This agreement governs every purchase from Alpha Aminos. By entering this site, placing an order, or taking delivery of any product, you accept it in full. If you do not accept it, do not order.

Alpha Aminos is a trading name of LK Operations LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, of PO Box 17154, Fountain Hills, AZ 85269.

1. Research use only

All products supplied by Alpha Aminos are chemicals intended solely for in vitro laboratory research, analytical, and scientific use (RUO). They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, medical devices, or food. They are not intended for, and must not be used in, human or animal consumption, ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical application, or any other form of administration to a living subject.

You must not combine, mix, compound, dilute, reconstitute, formulate, repackage, relabel, or otherwise adulterate or prepare any product for the purpose of administration to a human or an animal, whether by you or by anyone else.

No product is sold for diagnostic or therapeutic use of any kind. No statement made by Alpha Aminos has been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and nothing supplied by Alpha Aminos is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

2. Who may purchase

By ordering, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You are a qualified party — a qualified research professional, a licensed scientist, a laboratory professional, or a person with equivalent training and facilities — competent to receive, handle, store, and dispose of research chemicals safely.
  • You are legally entitled to receive research chemicals where you are, and you hold any licence, registration, or approval required there.
  • You will use the products strictly for laboratory research or testing, in an appropriate and approved setting with suitable containment, equipment, and protective measures.
  • You are ordering on your own behalf, or on behalf of an institution that has authorised you to do so.
  • You are not acting as an agent for any person who intends to administer the products to a human or an animal.

3. What Alpha Aminos is, and is not

Alpha Aminos is a chemical supplier. It is not a pharmacy, not a compounding pharmacy, and not an outsourcing facility registered under section 503A or section 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. It does not manufacture, compound, or dispense medicines, and it does not employ or provide access to medical or veterinary practitioners.

Alpha Aminos does not and cannot advise on the use, preparation, dosing, administration, or effects of any product it supplies. Requests for such guidance will not be answered. This is not evasiveness — it is the boundary that keeps a research supplier a research supplier.

Nothing on this site or in any communication from Alpha Aminos — including product descriptions, certificates of analysis, and replies to enquiries — constitutes medical advice, a treatment recommendation, a dosing instruction, or therapeutic guidance. If you have a medical concern, consult a licensed physician.

4. Your responsibilities

On delivery, responsibility for the products passes to you. You are responsible for handling, storage, use, containment, record-keeping, and disposal in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, institutional policies, and accepted laboratory practice.

You are responsible for determining whether a product may lawfully be imported into, possessed in, or used within your jurisdiction, and for obtaining any licence, registration, or approval that jurisdiction requires. Alpha Aminos makes no representation that any product is lawful in any particular place.

You must not resell, redistribute, relabel, or transfer any product to a person who does not meet the conditions of section 2, and you must not represent any product as fit for human or animal use.

5. Testing, certificates, and specification

Every lot is tested by an independent third-party laboratory before it reaches Alpha Aminos, and tested again in-house on arrival, before it is listed. Purity is determined by high-performance liquid chromatography and identity by mass spectrometry. A certificate of analysis is produced for each lot and is available in your account and through the COA lookup.

The certificate records what was measured for that lot. It is not a warranty of fitness for any purpose, and it does not qualify or reduce the restrictions in this agreement. Products are supplied against their stated specification and nothing further.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Except for conformity with the stated specification for the relevant lot, products are supplied "as is" and without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Alpha Aminos specifically disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability and any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpha Aminos is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage arising from the purchase, handling, storage, use, or misuse of any product. Its total aggregate liability in respect of any product is limited to the price paid for that product.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Alpha Aminos, and its officers, employees, and agents, against any claim, loss, liability, or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your breach of this agreement, from your handling, use, or disposal of any product, or from any administration of a product to a human or an animal by you or by anyone to whom you transferred it.

9. Refusal and cancellation

Alpha Aminos may decline or cancel any order, at its discretion and without stating a reason, including where it has grounds to believe a product may be intended for human or animal use, or where an order cannot lawfully be fulfilled. Where an order is cancelled before dispatch, it is refunded in full.

10. Acknowledgment

You acknowledge these terms twice: once on entering this site, and once as a required confirmation at checkout. The confirmation at checkout is tied to the specific order it accompanies, and an order cannot be placed without it. That record is retained.

11. Governing law and changes

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Alpha Aminos may amend this agreement at any time by publishing a revised version on this page; the version in force at the time of an order governs that order.
