This policy explains what Alpha Aminos collects when you use this site, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website and to orders placed through it.

1. Who is responsible

LK Operations LLC, trading as Alpha Aminos, of PO Box 17154, Fountain Hills, AZ 85269, is responsible for the personal information described here. Privacy enquiries may be sent through the contact page or to orders@alphaaminos.store.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

Order and account details — name, email address, billing and shipping address, telephone number where provided, and your order history.
Payment information — handled by our payment processor. Alpha Aminos receives confirmation that a payment succeeded and a partial card reference; it does not receive or store full card numbers.
Messages — anything you send through the contact form or by email, including certificate and lot enquiries.
Marketing preferences — your email address, if you subscribe.

Information collected automatically

Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages viewed.
Cookies — including the cookie that records your research-use acknowledgment, so the entry modal does not reappear on every visit.

Compliance records

When you acknowledge the research-use terms on entering the site, and again when you confirm them at checkout, that acknowledgment is recorded and retained against the session or the order. This is the record that documents your consent, and it is kept for that reason.

3. Why we use it

To take, process, dispatch, and support your orders.
To make certificates of analysis available to you against your orders.
To answer your enquiries.
To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including demonstrating that research-use terms were acknowledged before a sale.
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.
To operate, secure, and improve the site.
To send marketing email, where you have asked us to.

4. Legal basis

Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on: performance of a contract, for order processing and support; legal obligation, for compliance and tax records; legitimate interests, for security, fraud prevention, and site improvement; and consent, for marketing email and non-essential cookies. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

5. What we do not do

Alpha Aminos does not sell personal information, and does not share order contents with advertisers, data brokers, or list resellers. What a customer orders reveals what they are researching, and that is not ours to trade.

6. Who we share it with

Personal information is shared only with parties that need it to run the business, and only for that purpose:

Our ecommerce platform, which hosts this store.
Our payment processor, which handles card details directly.
Carriers, to deliver your order.
Email and analytics providers acting on our instructions.
Professional advisers, and any authority to which disclosure is legally required.

If the business is sold or reorganised, customer information may transfer as part of it, subject to this policy.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent. Where California law applies, you may also have the right to know what is collected and disclosed, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

Some information cannot be deleted on request: order records and research-use acknowledgments are retained for the periods described below because we are required to keep them.

8. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records — for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law, generally seven (7) years or as otherwise required by applicable state and federal tax laws.
Research-use acknowledgments — for as long as the associated order record is kept, since one evidences the other.
Account information — while the account is open, and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Marketing subscriptions — until you unsubscribe.

9. Security

The site runs over encrypted connections, payment details are handled by the processor rather than by us, and access to customer information is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the relevant authority where a breach requires it.

10. Cookies

Essential cookies keep your cart and session working and record your research-use acknowledgment; the site cannot function without them. Analytics and marketing cookies, where used, help us understand how the site performs. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, though blocking essential ones will break checkout.

11. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted by applicable law.

12. Children

This site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us information, tell us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy by publishing a revised version here. Material changes will be signposted on this page.
